Defend the 612 exists to help people connect with one another at the neighborhood level. The goal is to strengthen local networks by linking community members to nearby groups already responding to ongoing harm, and by helping build new formations in areas where support structures are missing. This work focuses on connection, mutual support, and resourcing communities where it’s needed most.
